Things suck. Comics are awesome.

 Hi, Not sure if anyone will ever read these but I’ve decided to be more proactive about sharing my thoughts and ideas, Even if nobody is seeing them.

getting worse. I feel very privileged to be able to use my love for comics and the arts as a short escape from the seemingly crumbling world I am living in. I’m sorry to sound so pessimistic. I hope to re-read this one day and see how dramatic I was being. 

Okay, So comics. Anyone who knows me in my day to day life knows how obsessed I am with comic books. I love reading them, collecting them, and trying to draw them. I even like how they smell. I sometimes share comics I like on my instagram (joshdoesscribbles on IG, for anyone who is interested.) But I wanted this blog to be an extension of those instagram posts. 

Moving forward, I’ll be blogging sporadically about comic books, art, my life, and whatever else I want.

Flying not floating.

       I've just realized that in my dreams, Maybe I've meant to fly but I always end up floating. I've always had dreams where I somehow end up floating at some point. I walk and then boom, I'm in the air and then back down again slowly. Every time it happens it's very frustrating, it feels like it's not suppose to happen. I'm not exactly sure what floating in my dreams means. If you google "being afraid of floating in a dream" The answer that comes up says that you may lack self-confidence in your own qualities. I can understand that. But upon watching a scene from the AMAZING (no of course I'm joking) Superman Returns, I saw the scene where Clark reminisces about growing up on the farm in Smallville and we see him jumping and running and floating and falling and it hit me.
